Update: 2026 Annual Meeting Keynote Speaker Confirmed
State Representative Brian Lorenz has been confirmed as the 2026 Keynote Speaker for NAIOP of Ohio’s Annual Meeting & Legislative Day luncheon. He is currently serving as Vice Chair of the House Development Committee, where he has been a strong voice on economic development, infrastructure, and growth-focused policy. He is also the lead sponsor of NAIOP’s priority legislation, House Bill 361, which focuses on streamlining permitting processes and improving regulatory efficiency. His leadership on this issue reflects both a strong understanding of the development environment and a commitment to improving predictability for projects across Ohio.
Prior to joining the legislature, Rep. Lorenz served as Mayor of Powell and as a member of Powell City Council, with a professional background in city and regional planning, zoning, and local economic development. We’re excited to have him headline this year’s program and help frame the conversation around Ohio’s development landscape.
